International efforts to secure a ceasefire have so far been unsuccessful. We’re joined from Gaza City by Democracy Now! correspondent Sharif Abdel Kouddous.

 

As efforts to secure a ceasefire continue, we host a debate on the Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip with two guests: James Colbert, policy director for the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs; and Yousef Munayyer, Executive Director of The Jerusalem Fund and its educational program, The Palestine Center.
